This is the first of many activities we will make this year in first grade. The Kissing Hand is a popular back to school book that many teachers enjoy reading to their kiddos. It is about a little raccoon who is nervous about starting school and leaving his mother. His mother kisses the palm of his hand and assures him her love will always be with him.
